84 Silver Niello Cigarette Case Circa 1890. 84 silver (Russian sterling) niello cigarette case, circa 1900. It has the first Kokoshnik mark dating it from 1896 to 1908. The head and assay mark are partially obliterated but the 84 is clear. It has an additional stamp which looks like CEC. The case is 3 3/4″ by 4 3/4″. Much of the niello has come out but the design is still very clear. I was unable to identify the building pictured on the front. Guaranteed to be as described. This is an antique lady’s pocket watch. Made circa 1900 in Switzerland of 800 silver with rose gold detail on the back. It is a 10 ruby watch. The back features a niello type decoration in an Art Nouveau style with fronds. There is a rose gold plaque etched with a rabbit coming out of a hat.
