Up for sale is this very rare Russian gilt cooper and niello silver double lid snuff box. Niello plaque is also a bit worn, there is an old lead or zinc repair to the outer rim of the lower. Cover, but other than all this, the inside gilding is in good order and this is a rare item.
Antique Ottoman Silver, Parcel Gilt And Niello Hammam Bowl, Ottoman Bosnia – Mid 18th Century. The cup of round form with an s-curve handle. Gilded to the interior. The exterior ornamented with alternating panels of niello and silver-gilt, flanked by silver ribs. Chased design to the underside of the base. Made in Bosnia when it was part of the Ottoman Empire. Weight: 352 grams, Diameter: 14 cms, Height: 6 cms. Please note, the item is antique and thus the condition is with consideration of such nature.
