A beautiful and unusual solid silver niello double salt cellar. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. It has been beautifully handmade being decorated with boating scenes, I suspect it is middle or near eastern possibly Iraqi.

This is a lovely item to own or to give as a special gift. From the very beginning of 20th Century, Ottoman Turkish niello silver pendant and double sided seal. One side of the pendant is incised floral designs the other side is decorated with “Maashallah” in Ottoman. The personal seal is located in the mid of pendant and comes out when pushed from one side. 3.8cm (1.1/2) in length. In very good condition for age (see all picts).
