This is a guaranteed solid 84 Russian Silver niello finish, cigar or maybe cigarete case, from 1889, with hallmarks, for the maker, but they are Russian letters, so hard to put here, have shown them in the pictures. It has wear to the niello finish on the one side, but it is great on the other, and this is fat, so I though maybe, for cigars?? It measures 3.86″ by 2.24″ and it is 1.06 thick. Very well amde, and it weighs a solid 103.1 grams. It is totally hand engraved over every inch. The entire piece measures jut under 6 in length, and it weighs a solid 98 grams in total weight.
