Rare vintage Russian silver gilt 916 purity basket with handle. It measures approximately 4 ” by 4.25 ” and approximately 4.5 inches tall with the handle extended. Total weight 4.8 Troy ounces or approximately 136 grams. The border of the basket has an intricate Niello design with a central cartouche depicting a mountain scene. The top border has a scalloped reticulated edge. The basket handle folds up or down easily. The inside of the basket and the inside of the basket handle are gold. Hallmarked on the underside with a 916 purity mark.
Hello dear customers, up for sale a rare antique pocket folding knife with two blades. Attributed to Solingen knifes factories. Unmarked carbon steel blades. Featuring silver grips with waves niello enamel decoration and inaly gold scroll ornaments. The knife is excellent condition on grips and blades are still sharp, minor patina on steel due to age. Found at an estate sale in Paris, not sure for its age or history other than it came from an estate of a world traveler and antique collector. Mesures: 2.75” folded. Blades: 1.75” and 1.5′.
