Antique Russian Sterling Silver Niello Chatelaine Perfume Scent Flask Bottle. Has the mark with 84 which indicates. 875 silver, along with left facing woman’s head wearing kokoshnik and also an assayer’s mark I cannot make out. In another area there is what I guess is the maker’s mark but it is worn and I cannot make it out. The cap screws on. Bottle is attached to a belt hook by two chains. One side has a shield shaped area that is blank. Above that is a name. On the other side it is just a pattern. The side where the shield is, is indented. Not sure if that was intentional when it was made or someone pushed it slightly inward. The bottle alone measures 2 3/8″ x 1 1/4″. Including the chains and hook, the length is 4. This item weighs 20.3 grams.
