High quality niello decoration with allover decoration covering all sides of the box including the base. There is a depiction of a church within an urban setting on the lid. The rest of the body. Is decorated in a geometric pattern. There are hallmarks on the inside of the lid and in the upper side of the base. Marks on the rim. The makers mark is illegible. The assay mark is for Moscow 1838. Really fine condition and excellent antique. Condition with no problems.
