Small Cup 84 Silver Niello 19th Century Moscow Antique. Dear buyers, We are offering a gorgeous piece from our collection! A very fine quality solid silver #88 spoon with enameled bowl and finial. Hallmarked on the handle for Moscow c. 1889, silversmith ” E S” (????????????). Measurements: 4 7/8(125mm)Long, weight. Antique condition with minor wear on enamel.

Presented is an antique, Russian silver and niello enamel beaker, cup or mug made in 1867. This mid 19th century beaker is covered in hand decorated niello enamel designs. There is also a lot of fine quality hand engraving around all 4 cartouches. The cup has two larger scenes of bulidings/ churches, traditional Russian architecture as well as 2 smaller panels, one with engraved flowers, and the other with an empty shield shaped devise for a monogram. This cup has never been monogrammed. The underside bears the Moscow city mark, an assayer’s mark with a date 1867 and the Russian Kokoshnik 84 mark for 84/96 or. This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age and the engravings are crisp. Antique Russian 875 Silver & Niello Beaker Moscow Circa 1842. Of round form, Antique Circa 1842 Russian 875 silver & niello drinking beaker, decorated with hunting scene preparation & heavy niello plaque depicting a castle along hill side landscape. Fine quality hand chasing to each figure, a horse, hunting dogs & forest landscape. Each plaque surrounded by chased scroll-work foliage & floral design. Hand chased ground with chased applied border rim. Overall very good condition, minor dent to the bottom, minor dent marks underneath castle plaque, scratch marks. No visible dents to designs, scratch marks to plai design areas. Marked: 84, Moscow, Assay A. 1842, maker’s mark illegible. Height 3 2/3 in. Diameter 3 1/4 in. Total Silver Weight 167 grams.

Antique Russian silver (84) and niello snuff box. Makers mark identify this as being dated to 1883 and from Moscow. Beautiful example of niello and hand craftsmanship. A stunning example of Czarist era silverwork. Box measure 3 7/8″ long X 2 3/8″ wide X 7/8 deep and weighs 128.4 grams.
