For your consideration is a rare and important antique Imperial Russian Chased 84 Niello Silver Snuff Pill Vesta Box Kovsh Case in fine original condition. Weight is approximately 31.40 grams. Measures approximately 48mm x 39mm x 22mm. Fully hallmarked for Russian Imperial 84 Silver Kokoshnik and maker’s/ workmaster/ silversmith initials/ marks. Beautiful Niello black and silver design with Versace border / rim. Hinge is loose; however, box closes tightly. With the exception of a loose hinge, this snuff box is in excellent condition.

The item is in good condition for its age, and did not have any repairs. Typical silver with Cyrillic maker’s mark and hallmarks. The exterior has a finely detailed engraved images of the graving ornament. Stamped with the Russian Silver Hallmarks 84. The spoon are essentially perfect, no wear of any kind visible to the unaided eye. The silver retains beautiful luster throughout.
